We boeken nog een nachtje bij en gaan op zoek naar de wilde paarden, flamingo\u2019s en zoutpannen. Eerst naar mus\u00e9e de la Carmarque voor wat informatie. Een mooi gezicht als de paarden staan te drinken. Afwisseling van vlakke stukken land, soms drassig als gebied voor de vogels, maar ook boerenland waar nog gewoon geboerd wordt. Vaak aan beide kanten van de weg riet of bamboe. Voor de vele fietsers wel wat saai om daar te rijden. Het is hier niet druk, na de wegen met begroeiing, nu in open landschap, waar wij erg van houden. Op de fiets zou je er wel kunnen komen met de auto niet. Phare de la Gacholle, met een woonhuis en wat bankjes en water. Er wordt gewaarschuwd voor hoog water, geen idee of in de winter deze toren met zijn voetjes in het water staat. Hier kunnen we niet verder mee. Staan half op een stoep. Maar Anne gaat aan de slag. Heel veel werk om de reserveband onder de auto vrij te maken. De kapotte band is onderdeel van de dubbellucht maar het lukt uiteindelijk allemaal. Reserveband plaatsen en kapotte band weer onder de auto met een sjorband vast. Een hele klus waar Anne het werk moet doen. Ik kan alleen wat drinken geven, complimenten en sleutels aangeven. Gelukkig is Anne handig en ook sterk.
