Het is er erg druk, voortdurend file rijden. In de spiegel zie ik een mooie Nederlandse dubbellucht widebody, die zie je niet zo vaak. We hadden deze opvallende bus al eerder gezien bij Prora en Sellin. Even later rijdt er ook nog een Nederlandse dubbellucht brandweerauto achteraan. Het begint op een dubbelluchtmeeting te lijken. Helaas slaat de brandweerauto af. Bij de Lidl in Bansin ga ik naar de parkeerplaats en de widebody komt mooi achter ons aan. Ook hier een pier de zee in en langs het strand mooie oude villa\u2019s afgewisseld met nieuwe betonnen exemplaren. Anklam zelf valt een beetje tegen. Veel vergane glorie. Je kunt zien dat het ooit een mooie stad geweest is, maar dat het communisme het aardig gesloopt heeft en het daarna niet weer wat geworden is. Er is nog een gigantische dom, een oude stadsmuur met gerestaureerde torens, maar ook nog veel lelijk beton. Er is een museum gewijd aan de broers Lilienthal, die vliegpioniers waren.
