Vrijwilligers onder aanvoering van Bengt Larsson, hebben in het plaatselijke dorpshuis een museum ingericht over het glas uit deze fabriek. Bengt leidt ons persoonlijk rond en zit vol mooie verhalen. Hij was in zijn werkzame leven organist en dirigent. Met een van zijn koren ging hij na de val van de muur naar Estland. Daar ontdekte hij prachtig bruksglas. Vanwege de Corona is het daar nu erg rustig. We doen er boodschappen om de voorraden weer wat aan te vullen. We besluiten om toch niet naar Noorwegen te gaan vanwege de onzekerheden rond Coronamaatregelen. Dus zetten we koers richting het V\u00e4ttern meer en het G\u00f6ta kanaal. We overnachten in Pr\u00e4stbol, een oud dorpje met een belangrijke kerk en pleisterplaats aan de Pelgrimsroute naar het graf van Olav de Heilige in Trondheim. De Ostra Amterviks Kyrka is ook de kerk van de schrijfster en nobelprijswinnares Selma Lagerl\u00f6f. Haar familiegraf is op het kerkhof en in de kerk hangt een door haar geschonken schilderij. Het landgoed Marbacka, waar ze woonde, is vlakbij, maar verandert in een tourist trap. Mooie plekken bij de jachthaven met water, waterlozen, toiletschoonmaken en douches. We gaan na een dikke onweersbui eten in het gezellige stadje. Er zijn veel pizzaria&#8217;s, maar maar 1 Italiaanse en hoog gewaardeerd.  Dat blijkt te kloppen, want het zit er helemaal vol. We kunnen er niet meer bij. De vrolijke Italiaanse gastheer verwijst me naar zijn vrouw om informatie te krijgen over een ander restaurant. Zo komen we in La Cocina, waar het een stuk rustiger is.
