Deze is in 1965 hier naartoe gebracht. Grappig dat Capitool reisgids zegt dat het een Indianengezicht is en dat de folder van de VVV praat over een t\u00eate de femme of squaw. Wat in ieder geval klopt is dat de vrouw van Picasso hier model voor stond. Ja en wat je erin wil zien is aan de kijker. Supermooie plek aan het water. Zo\u2019n relatief kleine plaats met dit beeld is wel bijzonder. Dat kwam vooral omdat twee architecten uit deze regio bij Picasso waren en Picasso ge\u00efnteresseerd was in werken met beton. Omdat hij al oud was, 84 jaar, kon hij de plek zelf niet bekijken waar het beeld zou kunnen komen te staan. Er werd een foto gemaakt en het beeld was erin geplakt. Picasso schreef Qui op de foto. Dus dit beeld ging New York aan de neus voorbij. Leuke foto\u2019s in klein VVV-tje waar je kan zien hoe dit beeld in elkaar is gezet door lokale timmermannen. Het beeld(aanzicht) van de huizen is in stand gehouden. Vooral veel ambachten die ook nu hier nog worden uitgevoerd, zoals zilversmid, houtbewerking, poppenspelers theater. Het leuke is dat er gekeken is wat er vroeger werd gedaan. Er zijn foto\u2019s met acteurs die laten zien hoe de mensen dit vroeger deden en hoe ze eruit hebben gezien. De achterkant van de foto geeft de huidige bewoners aan plus wat ze hier aan werk doen. Je mag er alleen lopend doorheen, ook fietsen verboden. Lekker rustig. Vooral voor kinderen leuk omdat je allerlei oude spelletjes kan doen zoals steltlopen. Van Anne mag ik het niet voordoen, straks val ik nog. Buiten de stad een camperplek waar ook wat stadnomaden wonen en bivakkeren. Later komen er ook nog mensen die daar lekker gaan koken op de vuurplek en in hun auto slapen.
