Helaas bleek het parkeerterrein aan de \u2018overkant\u2019 van de rivier te zijn. Wij weer 17 kilometer terugrijden om aan de overkant te komen. Daar was het druk en gezellig. We vinden een parkeerplekje aan de rivier. Er staat wel een parkeerautomaat, maar volgens Google Translate is het parkeren gratis. We gaan eten op een leuk terras van Old Town Grill. Grillen kunnen de Litouwers inderdaad. Maar vlak buiten Birstonas is een politiecontrole en Anne moet blazen op de vroege zondagochtend. Niks aan de hand natuurlijk en we rijden door. Het weer wordt beter en we gaan met zonnig weer de veerboot op. In een kwartier staan we aan de ander kant, in de file \u2026 Het is zondag en er is een evenement op het eiland en er is maar 1 weg \ud83d\ude09 Volgens Park4night is er een overnachtingsmogelijkheid in een jachthaven vlakbij. Het is even zoeken, maar dan vinden we een mooie, maar dure plek met een gratis wasmachine. Drie machines was compenseren ruimschoots de overnachtingsprijs. Ook wandelen we naar een mooi strand, waar honden niet mogen komen, maar Pieter natuurlijk wel.
